A challenging target for exports has been set by the Ministry of Trade & Industry and the Textile Export Council is supporting exporters to fulfill this ambitious export strategy. As The Textile Export Council «TEC» of Egypt, we aim to encourage exports of high value added textile products. For that we welcome the new system for “Export Support” that was remodeled by Export Development Fund «EDF», as we believe it will help textile sector integration & development. Our exports witnessed a remarkable growth and reached 1,982 million EGP by the end of June 2010. This value is considered the highest since 2006 and with an increase of 52% if we compare the first six months of 2010 to the same period in 2009.
